Ref. Advertisement No. F&ES/01/2019 issued on 15.02.2019 and published on 16.02.2019 in
leading news papers in Assam for recruitment of 24 (twenty four) Nos. posts of Driver under Fire
and Emergency Services, Assam, it is for general information that the Govt. of Assam has given
approval for recruitment of another 39 (thirty nine) Nos. posts of Driver under this Directorate. As
such the total number of vacancies for recruitment of Driver will be 24 + 39 = 63.
In this connection online application from the eligible candidates who did not apply earlier in
pursuance to advertisement dated 15.02.2019 will be received up to 10.03.2019 midnight.

1. (a) Age: – Applicant should be between 18 to 25 years of age as on 01-01-2019. (Relaxation of 5 years in case of candidates belonging to special categories like Schedule Castes, Schedule Tribes (P) and Schedule Tribe (H) and 3 years in case of OBC/MOBC under provision of the Reservation Rule and in respect of Home Guards who have served for a period of 3 (three) years or more)
2. (a) Educational Qualification: – Minimum Educational Qualification will be Class-VIII passed from a recognized Board/ Institution and the applicant must possess valid driving license for HMV, (Heavy Motor Vehicles) from recognized authority (Assam State only)
