Government of Assam created the Assam Rural Infrastructure and Agricultural Services Society (ARIASS) in November 1998, as an autonomous body, headed by the Chief Secretary, Assam, as its President (Project Guidance Council) and the Agriculture Production Commissioner, Assam as the Chairman (Governing Body).

The ARIAS Society invites applications for the following contractual position under the World Bank financed Assam Agribusiness and Rural Transformation Project (APART)
Name of Post: District Horticulture Coordinator
No. of Post: 15
Qualification: Bachelors degree in Agriculture/Horticulture from any recognized university/
Institution. Preference, however, will be given to candidates holding Post-Graduate diploma/ degree in Agriculture/Horticulture
Experience: DHC must possess at least four (4) years of professional experience in Horticulture related activities/ Agriculture extension or related activities in any public/private sector organization
Computer Skill: The DHC must have experience of using Internet based applications, using and working with advanced word processing/spreadsheet including MS Word, MS Excel and MS Power Point and other related applications
Pay: INR 4.80 Lakh to INR 6.00 Lakh/Year
Age: 45 Years
