The Central Reserve Police Force came into existence as Crown Representative’s Police on 27th July 1939. It became the Central Reserve Police Force on enactment of the CRPF Act on 28th December 1949. It has completed 79years of glorious history. The Force has grown into a big organization with 246 Bns, (including 208 executive Bns, 6 Mahila Bns, 15 RAF Bns, 10 CoBRA Bns, 5 Signal Bns and 1 Special Duty Group, 1 Parliament Duty Group), 43 Group Centres, 20 Training Institutions, 3 CWS, 7 AWS, 3 SWS, 4 Composite Hospitals of 100 bed and 17 Composite Hospitals of 50 bed.

Constable (General Duty): INR 21700-69100 [Level 3]
Qualification:
Head Constable (General Duty): 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board/ University. Candidates should note that Date of Birth and Name as recorded in the Matriculation/Secondary Examination Certificate or an equivalent certificate will be accepted only for determining the age etc. No subsequent request for its change will be considered or granted. Candidates who doesn’t possess the essential educational qualification as on 13/01/2019 shall not be eligible and need not apply.
Constable (General Duty): Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board/ University. Application Fee: INR 100/- in the form of Crossed Indian Postal Order/Demand Draft/Banker’s Cheque along with their application in favour of “DIGP, GC CRPF, Jharoda Kalan, New Delhi

Annexure-A duly filled in on foolscap paper
Two Attested passport size Photographs
One duly affixed on application form
One on the admit card at the space prescribed for the purpose and duly completed in all respect addressed to
“The DIG, Group Centre, CRPF, Jharoda Kalan, New Delhi-110072” on or before 13/01/2019 repeat 13/01/2019 super scribing on the envelope “APPLICATION FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF SPORTSPERSON IN CRPF AGAINST SPORTS QUOTA-2018” along with the required documents. However, candidates belonging to far flung areas of States of NE Region, Ladakh Division of J&K, Sikkim, Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District, Lahaul & Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh, A&N Island, Lakshdweep can submit their application by 28/01/2019 repeat 28/01/2019 at 5.00 PM.
