Indian Army Recruitment Rally for Lower Assam:2019

1. MEGA Army Recruitment Rally for 13 districts of lower Assam was conducted at 8 Assam Police Bn Ground Abhayapuri, Bongaigaon (Assam). The rally was conducted by Army Recruiting Office, Narangi with the support of Red Horns Division and Civil Administration of Bongaigaon. Approx 36000 candidates of Assam had registered online for the rally. The candidates were provided all kind

of facilities, guidance and assistance by the Army Recruiting teams and Civil Administration.

2. Footfall for Assam was more than 22000, the highest footfall in North East.Approx 1600 candidates from Assam cleared the race, physical and medical test and will attend the written test. Written test of all selected candidates from Assam will be held on 28 Apr 2019 at Army Public School, Narangi. The recruitment being done by the Army provides the much needed employment opportunity for the local youth of Assam.

3. Director Recruiting Army Recruiting Office Narangi, Colonel H K Pathak briefed all the candidates who were selected for the written and asked them not to fall prey to attempts by touts to extract money from the candidates.

4. The Fair and transparent conduct of the recruitment rally by the Indian Army was praised by the candidates, locals, civil administration and the military authority. Such a sensitive and mega event was conduct very smoothly and successfully due to the meticulous planning and preparation by Army Recruiting Staff with the cooperation of Red Horns Division and support of Civil Administration. Director Recruiting Narangi thanked the Army authorities, DC Bongaigaon and local administration for all the support. Next Army recruitment Rally for all the thirteen districts of Lower Assam is planned to be conducted at Bongaigaon in Dec 2019.
